What call is there to do that? (2016)
audio and vocals, duration 10 mins

A story-telling soundscape based on the words collected from the story 'Irish words and phrases adopted into English speech' detailing animal calls used to call farm animals into feed and work. These words and phrases were collected during research into the National Schools Folklore Collection from the National Folklore Archive of Ireland and were activated from the page by an engagement with the South Roscommon Singers Circle, Knockcroghery, Co. Roscommon, Ireland. The soundscape also records various stories from a night of one of the Singers Circle's monthly meetings.

Recorded with the help of Rosfm; Roscommon community radio station.

The soundscape was exhibited as part of the solo exhibition Material Witness (2016)
